Guangdong UNT Cutting Tools Co., Ltd. was established and officially registered the UNT brand.
To meet growing production demand, UNT expanded its capacity by adding 10 ANCA five-axis CNC grinding machines.
UNT built its own manufacturing facility and relocated to Qingxi, Dongguan, increasing its ANCA machine count to 15 units.
UNT achieved ISO9001 quality management system certification and expanded its production line to 19 ANCA five-axis grinding machines.
Further investment brought the total to 35 ANCA five-axis grinding machines, 3 WALTER five-axis grinders, and 2 ZOLLER inspection systems, enhancing both production scale and quality control.
Established Chengdu Haiyan Precision Tools Co., Ltd., serving as UNT’s southwest China base for technical support and manufacturing.
Added a PCD tool production line, including 4 Origin five-axis laser machining centers, further diversifying the product range.
Introduced 10 in-house coating systems, marking UNT’s transition to a fully integrated tool manufacturing supply chain—from carbide rod to finished coated product.
